* SPOILER (Go to numbers used at the bottom of this review, if you do not want to know who Beethoven's Immortal Beloved) is a wonderful film that is so much to act as a portrait of Beethoven. Film director Bernard Rose has an enormous task with the music as co-star of this wonderful film. Although, there were letters found to have "Immortal Beloved", written by Beethoven, many scientists believe that the woman reported Beethoven, even in this movie, but another weddingWoman named Antonie Brentano from Birkenstock. She was married very young to an older man in an arranged marriage. However, this is a fascinating film that goes into many details of Beethoven's adult life, until his death. Oldman is excellent in his role and does an excellent job portraying a deaf man, a secret love for the wife of his younger brother. While the identity of Beethoven's immortal beloved is in the movie is false, then other aspects of his life and presented it toWriter / director Rose, who thoroughly researched the subject of the film before writing the screenplay. Among the topics discussed will be apparent discourtesy of Beethoven, as explained here because of his deafness, his contempt for both his contemporary musicians and aristocracy as well as its initial Napoleon (until he declared himself Emperor.) His fight for custody of his nephew Karl and his attempt to get Karl to follow in his footsteps, while Charles will be a single soldier is aMain theme. All the music of the film is correctly matched to each scene. This is from some of the players on the note featurettes included. Pictures, locations and costumes are beautiful and the duration time of Beethoven as a young man from the time of his death. The film was shot mainly in Prague, a city that looks more or less as it did 300 years ago. The films are bright and well lit, so that these beautiful scenes of all their glory Blu-Ray high-definition can be enjoyed. Agreat movie for those who love history and music. Note: There is some language and nudity.
