"Moonlight" starts with a vampire in PI-back is interviewed in his mind, to define what is about the vampire legend and what is real. "I do not hunt innocents. But there are predators out there that need to be done."
It is a curious inversion of tradition Anne Rice, and sets the tone for a unique history of vampires and urban mix of mystery - and unfortunately it ended too soon. Especially since Alex O'Loughlin is a vampire detective absolutely impressed, and direction fast, goodCGI save and snappy writing this to be another vampire story cheese.
Mick St. John (O'Laughlin) is a vampire detective in Los Angeles - where there was recently a murder vampiresque a student. Most vampire stories, whether on TV or in movies are so abysmally cheesy, which is cut into slices and serve with wine and biscuits. "Moonlight" done to avoid the factor Cheeze, and all too brief series manages to be a unique blend of vampire story, love and mystery novel mixture. Not to be missed.
