When Glen and Terry in the care of adolescents Glen's sister, are left "Al", for three days, small demonic creatures begin their malice on the cause trio terrorized not only her, but their occasional visitors and adolescents. It's up to Glen, Terry, and Al, to close a way to stop the hole and the demonic forces of expansion, but findinghow?
If you grew up in the 80s and 90s and I love horror movies, you are probably familiar with "The Gate". Published in 1987 and directed by Tibor Takacs, this is one that most of us at one time or another apartment, and when we were young enough, there was frightened. It's actually a sort of horror film for children. Sort Goonies meets Evil Dead, or something. Think "Monster Squad", but more about the demons as a monster movie classic. But beware, this is a '80 'sFilm Kids 'back when children's films' were actually good, because it was more for the credibility with political correctness and fear of traumatizing the public. These days, apart from Pixar, film and television viewers are always age-specific back so that it's difficult for people of different ages to get the same entertainment to enjoy together. This is not like in the '80 's, when many of the Kids' Stuff is fun for adults was. So keep at the bottom, eyes, that there is some scary stuffhere, for some children, however, and how I deal with these devils, said a sensitive issue for some people to see films for children. It also covers all the bases. We realize that some teen party at the "Light as a feather, stiff as a board" to hear a child who burned the type of album rock, then some parents, and contains other misconduct in the Rule, which led in part to demon the infestation occurs. But it's those small, realistic, nostalgic touches that make this so goodbehave like kids things really credible, or at that time anyway. This is truly horrifying realism, fantasy elements less realistic home. The young actors are excellent. At the top, we have a young Stephen Dorff, who really shows his skill here. Louis Tripp is also great as Terry worried, and I always had a thing for the beautiful Christa Denton, Al played the older sister and a great job for them. The effects are great too! Lessons from a huge faveMy "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" are the effects in this small budget film very impressive and sufficiently creepy! Bottom line, if not a lot of violence and blood, and if you like `80 horror as Night of the Demons, Evil Dead, Ghoulies, Critters, and more stuff for families, and Monster Squad, Gremlins, do not need love too! It's just great stuff!
The DVD is also great. It 's a widescreen presentation, trailers, retrospectiveFeaturette and a commentary by director, writer and special effects creators. The only disappointing aspect (apart from the fact that I do not think that the seemingly Dorff is on the cover of the new constitution) the lack of participation in the vote on one of the bonus. It would be nice to hear from them and see them today. Anyway, great film, love to finally have on DVD, and I recommend if you're that kind of thing.
