Rebel Without a Cause

Customer Reviews

You do not have a complete academic history of modern bourgeois family (since 1700), as the late Professor Lawrence Stone to recognize that a teenager, and in each class at a time in the modern age is full of terror, danger, loneliness and experience was exasperating when asked by a world that did not do, or try to overcome. While moving the teen angst and alienation over time, and obtain as a general statement is even more disconcerting, they tend to follow the model above. Only the rich and the middle class have more resources than the working class and the poor to cushion "the beats.

And the last statement sums up the film like the reference year "Rebel Without A Cause". The concerns of Jim Stark (played by short, go hard life, hard, and do not just cars, but always respected "Heartbreaker," James Dean), his self-styled girl, Judy (played by his beautiful girlfriend gone slightlyfalse Natalie Wood) and his would-be friend forever "lost" boys, Plato, (played with a discount of Sal Mineo), seem small compared to the massive attacks on today's teen sensation. The film collected but in its way, an attempt to control young people (or tribe know) as our hero, Jim, his masculinity attempts to assert his personality and his "style" in a post-war world from the civil community (California, of course) who wanted to make "beautiful". "Rumblefish", "TheFlatland, "or any of the master SEHinton this does not work, but as a slice, a thin slice, the deal with the complexity of Teen Angst, and as adult writers and directors think that sounds like the mirror image of their company a particular moment, is worth a watch.
